Mandatory Recall in Maine: Yani Live Resin Vape Cartridges Flagged for Chlorfenapyr

Maine cannabis regulators have ordered a recall of Yani Watermelon Chimera live resin vape cartridges after a consumer reported feeling ill. The Office of Cannabis Policy announced the recall on October 27, 2025, noting that lab results showed unsafe levels of the pesticide Chlorfenapyr in one batch.

The recall applies to 0.5-gram and 1-gram cartridges produced by NorCO Outdoor Cannabis, labeled with batch number 1A40D0300006145000011115. Officials said the products were distributed to 21 licensed retailers across Maine and sold between July 10 and October 16, 2025.
